Ice cream Nico Venice

Hotel Bucintoro • July 24, 2017

Come to Venice and not pay a visit to Gelati Nico to taste Piedmontese nut chocolate means to renounce to a rare pleasure of the palate.

A large outdoor dining platform sits on the water in front of historic Venetian buildings and a white church.

The terrace of Gelati Nico offers a breathtaking view of the Giudecca Canal.

This place is an historical ice cream shop of our town. Over 80 years it delights locals and turists with its ice creams , recalling the old recepies  and new and modern combinations. From Peggy Guggenheim  to Angelina Jolie,  artists and writers were stunned by the atmosphere of the ’50, by the views, by the spritz  but most of it by the ice creams.  You can taste more than 20 flavours , sitting on the terrace on walking on Zattere.

The more requested flavour is the “Gianduiotto”. Nut chocolate with cream, result of production that has satisfied a lot of clients through the years.
