Homo Faber 2024 | The Journey of life

Homo Faber 2024 | The Journey of Life, curated by Michelangelo Foundation, in partnership with Fondazione Cologni and Fondazione Giorgio Cini, follows the thread of a metaphorical "Journey of Life" conceived by Hanneli Rupert, vice-president of Michelangelo Foundation, which leads visitors through an evocative representation of the course of human life. The exhibition, which features the artistic direction of director Luca Guadagnino and architect Nicolò Rosmarini, unfolds along a ten-stage itinerary developed within the monumental complex of the Giorgio Cini Foundation among spectacular installations, original works and live demonstrations, and presents a very rich selection of unique objects made by more than three hundred master craftsmen from fifty different countries around the world, in a wide variety of skills, techniques and innovative approaches. At the same time, the Homo Faber in Città program offers everyone a new way to visit Venice, thanks to the collaboration with Confartigianato and CNA Venezia, Consorzio Promovetro Murano and Venezia da Vivere, allowing them to visit as many as seventy artisan workshops, selected through a special call, and learn about fascinating stories of inventiveness, talent and life choices.
