Ca' Pesaro announces, paying homage to her, the great exhibition on Vittore Carpaccio which will soon open at Palazzo Ducale, presenting the latest cycle of works by Marco Petrus. The series of Capricci by the Milanese painter originates from the geometric and highly colored lines of the typical Venetian breeches worn by certain protagonists of the scenes depicted in some canvases by Vittore Carpaccio and Giovanni Mansueti, exhibited in the rooms of the Gallerie dell'Accademia di Venezia. Promoted by the Fondazione MuVe in collaboration with M77 Gallery, the exhibition curated by Michele Bonuomo presents twenty-six medium and large format canvases, side by side or superimposed, in a lively coming and going of references, allusions and exchanges that the observer is invited to notice and resolve almost like a complex mental puzzle.
