Tony Cragg exhibit at Ca' Pesaro
The show expands along a path that winds the three floors of Ca’ Pesaro - from the the entrance hall to the first floor halls, to the monumental staircase, up to the second floor, which has recently been reopened. This show hosts around forty pieces of work in glass, bronze, steel, plastic and stone, as well as drawings, preparatory sketches and watercolors, made during the three decades of Tony Cragg's career. Tony Cragg was born in Liverpool in 1949 and besides being the winner of the Leone d’Oro at the Venice Biennale in 1988, he is also an exemplar of British sculpture (and not only) of our times. These works show the versatility of languages and products used in his work and are a striking comparison with the works permanently exhibited in the museum.
