Location
Hotel Bucintoro is on the banks of San Biagio, right near Piazza San Marco. All the hotel rooms have a magnificient view and, besides offering an enchanting panorama, its splendid location is also perfect to visit the entire historic center of Venice. Piazza San Marco is just a few minutes walk from Hotel Bucintoro; the Biennial Gardens are also just a few minutes away while the Arsenal and Naval Museum are respectively 100 and 20 meters from the hotel. The Rialto, Gallerie dell'Accademia, the Peggy Guggenehim Collection and the Lido of Venice, the home of the Film Festival, can be easily reached with the water shuttles that stop at the Arsenal. In addition to tourist sites, Hotel Bucintoro has the privilege of being right near Castello, the most authetic district in Venice, which is still full of small neighborhood shops, caffes and typical bacari (Venetian osterias).
How to reach us
By Plane
From the Marco Polo Venice airport
By Water. Take a water taxi leaving from the airport docks to arrive directly at the hotel in a little less than an hour or take the Alilagna red line motorboat that leaves from the docks and get off at the Arsenale stop. Hotel Bucintoro is only 150 meters from the stop.
By Land. Bus+shuttle: take the shuttle bus to Venice and get off in Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal). From here, continue with a water taxi that will take you to Hotel Bucintoro or you can take public water shuttle (ACTV) line 1 via the Grand Canal or line 41 via Canale della Giudecca, which both stop 150 meters from the hotel.
From the Treviso Canova Airport
Take the shuttle bus to Venice and get off at the terminus, Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal). From here continue as above.
By Train
Take ACTV water shuttle, line 1, direction San Marco/Lido, or line 41, direction Giudecca, and get off at the Aresenale stop. Hotel Bucintoro is only 150 meters to the right of the stop.
By Car
Park your car in one of the garages in Piazzale Roma (the bus and car terminal) or Tronchetto (the island is to the right at the end of the Libertà bridge). From Piazzale Roma, take water shuttle ACTV, line 1, direction San Marco/Lido (about a 45 minute trip), or line 41, direction Giudecca (about a 30 minute trip). From Tronchetto, take line 2, direction Giudecca. Get off at the San Zaccaria stop to transfer to line 41. In either case, get off at the Arsenale stop. Hotel Bucintoro is only 150 meters to the right of the stop.
